In 2026, The Roman Empire takes centre stage. Travel back to the age of emperors, gladiators and legionnaires, and discover impressive scenes of everyday life, grand structures, temples, aqueducts and arenas. More than 100 sand scenes will take you on a remarkable journey through history.

Sand Sculptures Garderen is a surprising day out in the Veluwe for all ages. Take your time to admire all the artworks and intricate details, and complete your visit with a walk through the atmospheric surroundings. Whether you come with your family, friends or relatives: there is always something new to discover at Sand Sculptures Garderen.

On Tuesday, 3 November 2026, Sand Sculptures Garderen will once again organise Blind Day for people with visual impairments. A special day centred on touching, listening and experiencing. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the sand sculptures up close and literally discover the shapes, details and stories with their hands.

The route is 100% wheelchair accessible, with wide paths and easy passage. Parking is available on site, right at the entrance (€4.50 per day).
