Almere Jungle is a unique combination of care, botanical garden, animal shelter, and animal park all in one. Take a journey through five continents and discover the diversity of animals and plants. Walk beneath the fast marmosets, look underwater at the two-meter-long spectacled caimans, and be amazed by the length of the tiger python. Learn more about the animals during the feeding talks by our animal keepers. In the jungle, you will also find various exotic flora, such as carnivorous plants, colorful orchids, and the largest water lily species in the world! During your expedition, visit the Temple of Kayaan and witness the exciting show. Perhaps the temple is awake and you can chat with him. The park is 70% covered, so there is something to experience both indoors and outdoors. Jungle Store and Jungle Café Are you impressed by the animals and plants in the park? Then be sure to take a look inside the Jungle Store after your visit. Here you will find, among other things, your favorite animal as a plush toy, special plants from the botanical garden for your home, and delicious regional products. End the day with a bite and a drink in the Jungle Café. After all the splashing fun, you can dry off in the sun on the terrace while the children enjoy themselves in the new playground.

Care Institution
Did you know that Almere Jungle is a care institution? By visiting Almere Jungle, you support fun and meaningful daytime activities for 150 children and (young) adults with disabilities. They help care for the plants and animals, create creative works that you will encounter in the jungle, and are happy to assist you in the Jungle Store or the Jungle Café.
