At the Rembrandt House Museum, you step into the former home and studio of Rembrandt van Rijn, where the famous artist lived for nearly twenty years and created many of his masterpieces. The historic building is furnished as it would have been in the 17th century, giving you a unique glimpse into Rembrandt's daily life.
During your visit, you'll discover the various living spaces, the studio, and the etching attic. The multimedia tour will tell you more about Rembrandt's life, his work, and the people around him. There are also daily demonstrations where you can see how Rembrandt made his paint and how his famous etchings were created. In addition, there are regular temporary exhibitions featuring works by Rembrandt and artists inspired by him.
