The National Perennial Plant Garden has been created in the park, the largest show garden with thousands of unique species. Flower festivals all year round

Last year, Bloemenpark Appeltern, in addition to the more than 100 model gardens, also planted extensive zones with dahlias, roses and annual flowering plants for the first time.

The floral addition was so well received by visitors and growers that this year it is being taken even further. Tens of thousands of flower bulbs have already been planted in the autumn and new flower and plant zones are being created in many more places than last season. 

Each month different plants are in the spotlight 

This year, Bloemenpark Appeltern is giving extra attention to different plants and plant groups each month. The role of inspiration and advice in the field of garden design and maintenance is not forgotten. The Tulip, Rhododendron, Hydrangea and Rose Days are combined with sketching advice, workshops, guided tours and design inspiration. A full agenda per season

This year, Appeltern Flower Park is open from 15 March to 31 October. In the three seasons, there is not only a different activity programme; the experience in terms of decorations, scavenger hunts and catering is also adapted per season. We distinguish:

• Appeltern Lentekriebels: from March 15 to May 31 (8 theme weekends)
• Appeltern Zomercapriolen: from June 1 to August 31 (9 theme weekends)
• Appeltern Herfstglorie: from September 1 to October 31 (5 theme weekends)

Accessibility

Bloemenpark Appeltern is located in Appeltern, near Nijmegen. You can park your car for free. Please consult Google Maps for the exact route from your starting point. Your navigation system may not be able to get to the gate of the 'Wintertuin' accommodation. indicates that you have reached your destination.

However, you will need to drive a little further with this gate on your right. After about 200 meters, you will drive onto the parking lot on the right.
